At Last!

I finally figured out how to get back on my blog! It's been a while, so here's a quick update.

Home-school year 2008-2009 is finished! We completed our first year of Co-Op and had a really good time. The kids learned a lot, and had a ton of fun with crafts, demonstrations, field trips, and generally fun things that I do not do on my own.

Sasha is getting ready for her end of year ballet performance. Chloe is excited about her Irish show, and Mama is excited to be done driving for a few months.

The boys finished their first season of T-Ball. Randi ( my sister) dragged me into it, and I'm so thrilled she did! They had a lot of fun and it was truly adorable to see Chloe, Isaac, and Gabriel on the same team:) The coach told us NOT to leave town or we take half the team with us!

Lily had her piano recital and is trying to convince me she is ready for violin next year. My jury is out. Until she can practice piano without being hassled, I'm not sure I'm ready to add violin.

Chloe just left for CA for two weeks with Grandma! They are going on a cruise to Mexico and spending quality time in Orange County. I'm not sure how fair this is, but I'm so happy for their time together. Hooray for Grandma!

The other update is that we are waiting for another placement. We've been completing our homestudy update and are hopeful that we will bring home a baby this year. It's been a hard wait, with not a lot of movement so far, but we believe we are called to adopt again...and so we hurry up and wait. And wait. Sigh. Prayer would be greatly appreciated!
